Along with my work at the Stanford Arts Review, contributing to the Peninsula Press was one of the more formative journalism experiences I had in college. I became a sharper reporter and learned crucial foundational skills, including pitching, sourcing and interviewing.
The Peninsula Press is an in-house publication at Stanford, a project of the graduate program in journalism. But in some instances, undergraduates have the opportunity to pitch stories to PeniPress. My journalism professors encouraged me to submit to PeniPress after exemplary performance in the classroom.
