The Stanford Arts Review was one of the my first forays into arts writing. Initially a fun break from a rigorous computer science curriculum (spoiler: I did not end up pursuing computer science), StAR became equal parts escapism and passion project. I eventually became the magazine's music editor, a position I held for three years.
At StAR, I had the chance to collaborate on some exciting projects, including hosting events with campus radio station KZSU and piloting a pop culture podcast. (I also became a better writer, hands down — support student-run publications!)
